This is a short list of Brewers I’m familiar with a comfortable recommending, one of the more important thing with a brewer is the water temp it can deliver to the basket, probably the biggest reason a cheap one struggles to produce good tasting coffee, also I think contact time (water on grounds) is important, seems like cheap brewers take quite awhile, these 2 things alone should help you spend the money and hopefully the time they last helps it pay off to

Technivorm https://amzn.to/4hXwIPh this is a tried and true easy to use easy to clean brewer, I have had one for around 15 years that still works perfectly, they have different models and colors but the link takes you to the one with an insulated carafe which I prefer as a glass carafe on a burner will not help your coffee if it sits for a while and you don’t have a burner on your table or in the car, (they seal good enough for that) also they don’t break! this model also has the shut off on the brew basket so you can bloom the coffee, I like to let it go about 1 minute and then push all the grounds down into the water gently with a spoon to make sure they all saturated then open valve, giving the grounds one sorta scoop stir with a spoon as the water tank nears empty doesn’t hurt either, I find with proper grind, water and coffee this brewer produces excellent results, sometimes even better then pour over

Fellow Aiden Brewer, this brewer is a little more expensive and might be more aimed at the coffee geek, I don’t have a lot of experience with it but what I do know about it seems to fairly easy to figure out and you should be able to keep it simple or get technical

Simply Good Coffee Brewer https://amzn.to/43vgzdT (Glass Carafe) https://amzn.to/3K2hvzL (Thermal Carafe) this brewer is kinda just the baby Technivorm, while the smaller size might not cut it for some it may be all some need and the price is great, (I bought one for around $150 on Black Friday)
